Ms Joney Faragher

Joney’s background is in social care, with a particular focus on supporting children and young people who have experienced adverse childhood experiences. She is the Leader of the Manx Labour Party (Partee Obbraghys Vannin) and describes her political approach as progressive and evidence-informed. Joney has served as a member of Tynwald, the Isle of Man’s parliament, since 2021.

Deputy Gavin St Pier
Vice-President of the Policy & Resources Committee
Gavin is a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser. Having qualified in Guernsey, he worked in London for a couple of years and qualified as a barrister before returning to the island in 1995, following which he worked in the fiduciary sector. He was a partner with international accounting firms KPMG and Deloitte and held senior positions locally at Kleinwort Benson and Barclays Wealth. He was elected to the States of Deliberation in April 2012 and was Treasury & Resources Minister until April 2016. In May 2016, he was elected President of the Policy & Resources Committee, Guernsey’s Chief Minister, a post he held until October 2020. Between 2020 and 2025, Gavin was primarily a backbencher, although for a year he was a member of the Committee for Health & Social Care. Following his fourth successful general election to the States of Deliberation in June 2025, Gavin became the Vice President of the Policy & Resources Committee, Guernsey’s Deputy Chief Minister. Gavin has supported the case for cannabis reform and a regulated market throughout his political career.

Dr Alex Allinson

Dr Alex Allinson is a GP and Member of Tynwald, the Parliament of the Isle of Man. He has held the role of Minister in a number of government departments and a consistent advocator for reform of the Island’s existing drug policies.
