Head of Participant Advocacy & Engagement

Patrick’s dissertation explored attitudes toward cannabis use, highlighting the ongoing stigma surrounding both recreational and medical cannabis. As Chair of the Participant Advocacy Panel, I am looking forward to contributing to TRACD discussions, working with Charlotte Caldwell and fellow panel members to support policy development and research objectives through evidence-informed insights. As I progress toward postgraduate study, I am keen to pursue opportunities with TRACD, whose commitment to cannabis research, education, and public engagement closely aligns with my academic and career aspirations.  

Regional Director

Jayne is an Assistant General Manager within an international hospitality franchise, working in a compliance and customer focused environment that requires consistent adherence to operational standards and regulatory frameworks. She has extensive experience building and running independent businesses, including a retail venture in a tightly regulated sector in Jersey, Channel Islands. This work has given her first hand insight into operational management, customer engagement, and navigating complex systems. In addition, she serves as a trustee of The I AM Billy Foundation, contributing governance insight and strategic guidance. Jayne leads with a focus on clarity, responsibility, and effective engagement within a regulated environment.

Compliance Research & Content Writing

Edvin Brnčić holds a Master’s in Leadership & Change Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focused on the Dutch tolerance model as a framework for regulated cannabis systems. With over five years’ industry experience, he connects market insight with government-led initiatives. He has authored widely published articles on cannabis reform, policy, cultivation, and CBPMs. Edvin is dedicated to developing high-standard, ethically governed frameworks that align innovation with regulatory compliance, public accountability, and long-term societal benefit.

Jimmy Nicholls is a seasoned journalist and communications expert with over a decade of experience analysing and reporting on technology, finance, defence, and politics. His work has appeared in prominent outlets including The Spectator, UnHerd, and Jane’s Defence Weekly.
